Our History

In 1969, John's father and grandfather moved the business from Storrs Center in Mansfield, CT (then known as Jim's Gulf) to Hampton, CT. Since then Hampton Hill has been open to help the people of Hampton and surrounding towns with their vehicle repair needs.

At HHG we take our responsibilities seriously to keep our customers and their families safe.

The picture above was taken in front of the old Hampton Hill Garage building located on Old Route 6 in Hampton in 1977.  Pictured on the left is John, at center is John's grandfather and on the right is John's father.

Meet the Team  - Decades of Experience

John Rodriguez - Owner
John has been working at HHG since 1976. In 1997, he purchased the business from his father and in 2000 moved from their two bay shop in the center of Hampton to their current location on Route 6.

Michael Rodriguez - Master ASE Technician

Michael, John's oldest son, and a graduate of the University of Connecticut, has been at HHG since 2005. He keeps current with professional training and certifications.
